well, the saddest thing in life is when you meet that special someone and you know it will never be, and that sooner or later you’ll have to let go.
your parents are always telling you to move on, to give up.
they don’t see him the way that you see him.
they don’t look into his eyes and see the world.
why would they understand?
they can’t possibly imagine what it means to look at your best friend and see all their hopes and dreams come true.
you’ll wish for once, just once, they could walk a mile in your shoes.
but they wouldn’t need to walk that far, they would just take one step and suddenly, they would take back every bit of ‘getting over him’ advice they had ever given you and realize he’s your life, he was meant for you, and that moving on or giving up is simply not an option.
dear parents, she doesn’t need to marry a very rich man to be success. she wants it by her own! :)
